GASTROENTEROLOGY FELLOWSHIP AT UCSF
APPLICATION PROCEDURE AND TIMETABLE

The following materials are required in order to accept an application as complete:

  1. Standard fellowship application submitted via ERAS, including 3 letters of recommendation, personal statement, and CV.
  2. NRMP Match registration
  3. UCSF GI Addendum Available in November
After your file is complete and has been reviewed, you will be contacted and potentially invited for interview.

Fellowship positions available for 2010:

  1. Clinical Investigator Research track: 3 positions
  2. Basic Science Research track: 3 positions
  3. Timeline:

    July 1, 2008
    MyERAS Web site opens to applicants to begin working on their applications
    November 15, 2008Applicants can electronically apply to programs through ERAS
    Early January 2009GI NRMP Match opens for on-line registration by programs and applicants
    January 15, 2009Deadline for receipt of ERAS application and program addendum
    March 2009Applicant interviews - Clinical Investigator applicants will be seen on one of two dates to be determined. Basic Research applicants will be seen by invitation.
    Mid April 2009NRMP Match Rank Order List (ROL) opens for programs and applicants
    May 31, 2009ERAS Post Office closes
    Early June 2009The NRMP Match Rank Order List (ROL) Certifications due from programs and applicants
    Late June 2009NRMP Match results for programs and applicants are posted to the NRMP website
